With 10 attendees, Milk Club continues to strive to dizzy heights.

Glorious milky fun times.
Balloonacy
June 25th, 2008
Not really made my mind up on this yet. It’s rather complicated, and I saw from a graduate a couple of years ago that won a BIMA.
Either way, boost my balloon!

Blogger outreach

Had my first.
Rob from JWT asks me to write about the new John West Ad.
Rude not to I guess.
I wish stop-motion would just… stop.
And what’s the deal with real video made to look like stop-motion.
Anyway, buy fish!
Smart Car, smart website
June 4th, 2008
I’ve been falling quickly out of love with papervision since the onslaught of crappy and unusable 3d menus, crapping up the intertubes with their crappyness.
Now I’ve seen the new jap Smart Car website, our relationship is bang back on track. It’s rather splendid and is full of Japanese charm and lovelyness.
It’s a pretty brave move from the clients perspective, letting them show the car in papervision with quite a low poly, low res model, instead of the standard cinematic car porn.
Lovely interaction, lovely website.
It’s here, and amazing!
June 1st, 2008
Okay. Last post on this I promise. But, it’s here!
This is better than I expected. In fact, it’s amazing!
It’s lovely to see some really high quality footage and professional editing in a skydiving film, and the standard of skydiving is really good.
And the ‘ACCORD’ logo at the end. Incredible. I almost can’t believe that it’s not comped together from different jumps, but you never know! Trying to find out from the people on the jumps.

Honda live ad - pretty cool
May 30th, 2008
Here’s the ad:
I had assumed that they’d be spelling out HONDA as a word, not letter by letter, although thats still pretty difficult - so that was a bit of a dissapointment. Either way its a brilliant ad, and brilliant skydiving, it’s really not easy - especially with all the added pressure of timings and performing live.
The quality of filming looked pretty standard for normal skydiving camera equipment. Despite the fact it was live, it just looked like any other skydiving video - with shitty weather. Expecting a lot more filmic quality from the rest of the ads.
Oh, and the ‘hello mum’ on the camera flyer’s gloves, brilliant.
Honda skydiving ad - live tonight!
May 29th, 2008

OOOhh. Exciting.
According to scamp there will be a live Honda skydiving ad airing tonight. It wont be the main one, but a spelling out of the honda logo. I imagine this will require 20-30 people. It will be a hard dive, especially with the added pressure of going out live.
It’s cool that it will be live, because it might (and has a pretty good chance) of fucking up… what if the weather goes bad? Despite this, I probably wont watch it live, because it will be on pootube tomorrow.
Either way, exciting
It’ll never work
May 27th, 2008
Who is just the right amount of old enough and young enough to remember ‘It’ll never work’?
“Each week, presenters find out about a selection of wacky and interesting new inventions - some that work, some that don’t - from all corners of the globe.”
What a brilliant program, I also had a big crush on that lovely Scottish presenting lady Sally Gray.
Why am I writing about this? Well, on thursday night I was having a pint of lovely beer in the Prince Arthur by Euston station. Who should also be there? Yes, you guessed it, Sally… sitting right by us, in the flesh. Wonderful.
I even got a picture of the wonderful union. She even said shindogu.

Tim got a picture too, he was a little star-struck.

Put this show back on telly and I guarantee that the economy will make an about-turn, and young people will stop poking at eachother with knives.

A week of food based wonder
May 22nd, 2008
This week I’ve been naughty. I ate lots of things that were naughty. I feel a bit like a big fat biffer, who has man boobs (moobs).
On Monday I had a curry in brick lane, the poppadom was a bit stale and the chicken a bit dry. After this debacle, you can just imagine my delight when I found this dessert, in the dessert menu, that looked just like a tuppence.

Another great pic for my ‘rude food’ set on Flickr, and yet another poignant reminder just how much of a silly little boy I am.
Last night I went for some birthday drinks with my pal Duncan. You can see him in this very photograph, trying to eat Donkey’s ear. You know Donkey, he stands on Goodge St, and has recently gained widespread online notoriety through Scamp blog.

Anyway, back to food, the donkey went and got me a burrito and delivered it back to the very pub I was loitering outside. I was very hungry, It was very tasty and I was very grateful. Thanks Donkey!
